1. Who we are

Fusion Padel Club operates from Rayner Lane, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL7 0FU. For any data-related queries, contact us at info@fusionpadelclub.co.uk.

2. What data we collect

We may collect the following personal data depending on how you interact with us:

• Waitlist / newsletter sign-up: email address, padel experience level, and areas of interest.
• Contact form: name, email address, optional phone number, and your message.
• Usage data: anonymised analytics data collected by Google Analytics (see section 6).

3. Why we collect it (lawful basis)

• Waitlist & newsletter: you have given us your consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) by voluntarily completing the sign-up form. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Contact enquiries: processed on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in responding to your enquiry, and your own interest in receiving a response.
• Analytics: processed on the basis of our legitimate interests in understanding how our website is used and improving the service.

4. How we use your data

• To send you updates about our opening, court bookings, events, and offers (waitlist subscribers only).
• To respond to contact form enquiries.
• To understand website traffic and improve user experience (analytics).

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. How long we keep it

• Waitlist data: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or for up to 2 years after we open, whichever is sooner.
• Contact enquiry data: retained for up to 12 months after your enquiry is resolved.
• Analytics data: retained for 26 months in line with Google Analytics defaults.

6. Third-party services

We use the following third-party processors:

• Google Analytics — website analytics, only activated if you accept analytics cookies (see section 7). Google may process data outside the UK/EEA. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — hosting and serverless functions for our website and API routes.
• Resend — used to send waitlist confirmation and marketing emails, and to manage the waitlist/unsubscribe list. See Resend's Privacy Policy.

Each third party is bound by appropriate data processing agreements and we only share the minimum data necessary.

7. Cookies & similar technologies

When you first visit our site, a cookie banner asks whether you'll allow analytics cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies to collect anonymised usage statistics; if you reject, no analytics cookies are set. Either way, we store your choice in your browser (via localStorage) so we don't ask again — this isn't shared with us or any third party. We also use localStorage in the same way to remember your light/dark display preference. You can change your cookie choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer, or by clearing your browser's site data, which will show the banner again on your next visit.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify any inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (this does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing).

9. Unsubscribing

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also request removal by emailing info@fusionpadelclub.co.uk at any time. We will process your request promptly.

10. Complaints

If you have concerns about how we handle your data, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve the issue. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK supervisory authority:

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated to waitlist subscribers by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
